Believe it or not, this was the first concert I attended. :p I'm not a really big fan but I do know some of Kylie's songs. I got two complimentary tickets and decided to bring Steph along. Good thing that she was the one I asked to join me because she really wanted to watch the concert. :)

Complimentary tickets, Upper A :) |
While waiting for Steph, I spotted a lot of gay people wearing costumes. I mean, they really put an effort in dressing up. Too bad I wasn't able to take photos of some up close. But I was able to take photos of some inside Araneta.

See the one wearing a white dress with a matching hat? That's what I mean. :p |
I saw a lot of women in high heels. And when I say high heels, I mean 5 inches and up. Yes, they too exerted an effort for the concert. I, on the other hand, just wore my white flats. :)

How high is that??? |

Me and my humble flats :) |
The show was supposed to start by 8pm but there were still a lot of empty seats. I guess that's why it was delayed by 30 minutes.

Steph and me before the start of the show. |
When all the lights were turned off, everybody knew that the show was about to start. There were screams and chants of Kylie's name. And finally, she appears on stage and I guess everyone, including me, was in such awe because Kylie was just beautiful.
The opening number was superb! :) And the production numbers that followed were awesome as well. I really loved the costume changes of Kylie, her back up singers, Lucy and Roxy, and all the dancers. The stage backdrop was a large screen (well probably made of combined units of smaller screens) enclosed by a Greek-inspired architectural design. There was also a hydraulic platform at the center of the stage where Kylie used to appear most of the time at the start of her performances. And everytime she appears from that part of the stage, something comes up with her. First, there was this giant seashell. Then an image of a Pegasus, a winged horse. A big head of a woman appeared next. Last was the 3-layer "cake" (well that's what I want to call it) which she used for the All the Lovers production number.

See? It's like a cake. :p |
The show lasted for about two and a half hours. I don't know majority of the songs but I went crazy together with the crowd when she sang Can't get you out of my head, Especially for you, and All the lovers. Everyone was jumping up and out and throwing their hands up in the air when we heard the opening beats La la la la la la la la...
